A borboleta-do-maracujá é uma borboleta ninfalídea de cor laranja-viva do sul dos Estados Unidos. Suas lagartas são especialistas obrigatórias em maracujás (Passiflora), alimentando-se das folhas e de outras partes da planta; os adultos, com manchas prateadas, buscam néctar em diversas flores. Os jardineiros que desejam hospedar suas larvas precisam cultivar uma espécie de Passiflora, pois nenhuma outra família de plantas sustenta suas lagartas.
