Privacy
Plotwright is a public gardening reference. The short version: collect as little as possible, ask before using your location, keep what little we store on your own device, and use no third-party tracking.

What we collect
- You can browse the full catalog, plant pages, and regions without an account and without sharing your location.
- We run no third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking cookies, and we never sell or share your information. (Some outbound retailer links are affiliate links — see "Advertising and affiliate links" below — but they load no scripts and share nothing about you.)
- Toute donnée que nous conservons reste dans votre propre navigateur, jamais sur nos serveurs. Vos choix manuels — localisation, zones, unités — sont conservés pour la session de navigateur en cours par défaut, et d’une visite à l’autre uniquement si vous y consentez.
Location
- Using "my location" or entering a city is always your explicit choice — manual hardiness-zone and postal-code lookup are always available instead.
- When you set a location we convert it into gardening-zone context (your hardiness zone and a climate trajectory). We do not store your raw latitude or longitude.
- Cette localisation reste uniquement sur votre appareil — conservée pour la session de navigateur en cours par défaut (effacée à la fermeture de l’onglet), et d’une visite à l’autre uniquement si vous consentez au stockage durable, où la copie enregistrée expire au bout d’environ 12 mois.
Cookies and storage
- Le stockage fonctionnel conserve vos choix manuels (localisation, zones, unités) pour la session de navigateur en cours afin que le site reste cohérent pendant votre navigation ; il est effacé à la fermeture de l’onglet. Le stockage durable — désactivé tant que vous ne l’activez pas — mémorise ces choix d’une visite à l’autre.
- Analytics and advertising storage are disabled; we will not enable them without a reviewed consent flow and an updated policy.

Advertising and affiliate links
- Plotwright runs no third-party advertising networks and loads no ad scripts, so nothing on the page tracks you across the web.
- Some plant pages include outbound "where to buy" links to retailers. Where Plotwright has an affiliate relationship, the link is labeled "Sponsored" and we may earn a small commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Links without that label earn us nothing.
- These are plain outbound links. Clicking one shares nothing about you with us; if you continue to the retailer, that retailer and its affiliate network may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Your data and your rights
- Everything we hold about you lives in your browser, so clearing it removes it. Use the button below, or your browser’s "clear site data".
- California residents (CCPA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information.
- Wherever you live: because we store data only on your device and run no trackers, you can see and delete your data yourself at any time — and you can always reach us with a question or request.
Children
Plotwright is a general-audience gardening reference, not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Since the little we store stays on your own device, you can remove it anytime with the button above.
EEA and UK visitors
